My bird is having trouble breathing due to a respitory illness etc...................... You can find a used nebulizar online and buy sterile saline solution. Take a plastic box with closable lid and cut a small hole in the smaller side, just big enough for the pipe end of the nebulizar. Add to the pipe chamber 1 cc liquid tylan/ LA 200/ or liquid baytril. Add a teaspoon of saline solution. Turn on nebulizar and put bird in box, close lid. This will help the medicine get deep into the lungs. Start with short treatments and work up to longer ones. | Medicine i can give birds in a pinch: Respitory or sinusitius - Childrens Cold & Flu elixier that does not have alcohol or pain medicine in it. Grape flavor seems to be liked the best. Teaspoon to 11 FL Oz |
